Singapore basics for Indian founders

Every Singapore company needs at least one director ordinarily resident in Singapore. Founders living in India usually appoint a nominee director.
A company needs a physical registered address in Singapore.
A company secretary must be appointed within six months of incorporation.
Minimum paid-up capital is S$1.
Incorporation can be done without visiting Singapore. Opening a bank account may need a visit, depending on the bank.
The headline corporate tax rate is 17%, with partial exemptions for qualifying new companies in their first three years.
